Driven pheasant provides some superb sport. Carried out along the Glen, benefiting from steep sided valleys in an idyllic setting along the banks of the burn of Earn. It is quoted in the Shooting Times as one of the highest bird shoot in the UK.

Bags of 60 to 100 birds per day are available under the careful supervision and guidance of the Game Keeper Mike Holliday who has been with the estate for over 15 years. Early days of predominantly partridge in October and early November can be arranged, whilst duck are readily available throughout the season.

The mixed woodlands at the foot of the Glen offer rough sport; consisting of pheasant, woodcock, pigeon and thrilling wild duck, with the occasional blackgame. On the moor, walked-up grouse over dogs, mountain hares, and higher up, the elusive ptarmigan. Rough shooting takes place over the entire estate from October to February, providing predominantly pheasant towards the end of the season.
